Join us on Saturday, April 25, for a free introductory tour of the exhibition “Roos Holleman – A Feast for the Eyes.” The guide will take you on a tour featuring new, monumental pastel drawings alongside her existing work. Holleman explores how humans and nature are interconnected and how we perceive nature.
In her work, she draws moths, birds, skulls, and bones, among other things, focusing on vulnerability and transience. Part of her new work plays with the fluorescent feathers of birds of paradise, which are normally invisible to the human eye. The large format of the drawings invites the viewer to look closely and attentively.
