Accessibility
Museum JAN is largely accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Only the upper room is not wheelchair accessible, and the coffee corner can only be reached via a few steps. A limited number of wheelchairs are available for loan; we recommend reserving one in advance.

Car
The museum is located near the A9 motorway. From the A9, take exit 5 (Amstelveen). From the exit, follow the signs marked 'Museum JAN'.
Parking
You can park for free anywhere around the museum and in the Old Village.
Public transportation
Museum JAN is accessible by bus. The nearest stops are a short walk from the museum.
From Amstelveen bus station: Take bus 174 (towards Amstelveen KLM Headquarters) or bus 186 (weekdays only) and get off at the Raadhuis/Dorpsstraat stop. From here, it is about a 3-minute walk.
Walking from Amstelveen bus station: it takes about 15 minutes to walk from the bus station to the museum via Oudekerkerlaan and Dorpsstraat.
Coffee corner
On Wednesdays and Sundays, you can enjoy coffee and cake in the museum, freshly prepared and served by Lunchroom La Gare. On other days, you can help yourself to a cup of coffee or tea in our coffee corner.
