Workshops for children & families
Looking at art inspires, amazes, and raises questions. You learn to look more closely, think critically, formulate your opinion, and develop your own creativity. That is why Museum JAN has a rich educational program called JAN JUNIOR. In connection with the changing exhibitions, we regularly offer children's and family workshops in which the shared experience of art provides the inspiration for creating your own artwork. In the monumental school building—located next to the museum—children can paint, draw, and create objects to their heart's content.
The workshops are given by experienced museum educators who welcome and guide the children with great enthusiasm.

Out and about on a treasure hunt
A fun JAN JUNIOR treasure hunt has been developed for the permanent collection, full of challenging questions and a drawing assignment. New treasure hunts are also regularly offered during exhibitions. This playful route helps children to look at art together. Children can set off on their own or under the supervision of parents or caregivers. The treasure hunt is free and... every child is a winner! Ask for it at the desk.
