Museum JAN processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. We process, among other things:

  • Payment details (when concluding a Friendship or booking an event)

  • Information about your browsing behavior on our website (via Google Analytics)

Purposes of data processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your request for room rental or receptions.

  • Registering your membership as a Friend of Museum JAN.

  • Sending our digital newsletter (if you have subscribed to it).

  • Providing information about educational programs for schools and families (JAN JUNIOR).

  • To contact you if necessary to perform our services.

Retention period

Museum JAN does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Data from Friends is retained for as long as the friendship lasts and thereafter in accordance with the statutory fiscal retention obligation.

Sharing data with third parties

Museum JAN does not sell your data to third parties. We only provide your data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you (for example, to a caterer when renting a room) or to comply with a legal obligation.
