Come to the Poetry Café at the Amstelland Library on Thursday, April 16, which will be held at Museum JAN this time! This edition is dedicated to our exhibition by Roos Holleman.
Holleman creates monumental pastel drawings in which she explores the relationship between humans and nature. Her work often features close-up views of moths, butterflies, and bird feathers. The powerful zoom-in on the feathers of moths and bird wings, combined with the powdery pastel chalk, makes Holleman's work tactile and seductive: you want to touch it.
Be inspired by her work and write a poem about the moth. During the Poetry Café, there will be an opportunity to share your poem with others. Of course, you are also welcome to come and listen.
The Poetry Café normally takes place at the Amstelland Library, but this evening it will be held at Museum JAN, surrounded by works of art.
