Family Workshop: Glass Painting!

  • JAN Museum 50 Dorpsstraat Amstelveen, NH, 1182 JE Netherlands (map)

Come to Museum JAN and make your own 3D glass painting!

Discover the interplay of light and shadow! In this creative family workshop, we’ll draw inspiration from artist Christiaan Kuitwaard. Christiaan paints the stillness of the ordinary things around him: a chair, a banana, a glass of water, but also trees, the foam of the waves on the beach, and even the grass in his garden. In doing so, Christiaan pays close attention to light and shadow.

Pick a nice subject—like the sea with seashells, your own garden, or a water bottle—and play with light and shadow.

Roll up your sleeves and become a true "silence painter" for a day—and discover the shadow in your painting!
